CITY COUNCIL APPOINTMENTS District 1 City Councilor Sal LaMattina was named Vice President of the Council last week by President Stephen Murphy. “I am truly honored to take on this role,” said LaMattina, “and I want to thank Councilor Murphy for placing his trust in me. I will continue to work every day for the people of my district and for everyone throughout the City of Boston.”

CENTRAL SQUARE MEETING Please join the Boston Transportation Department, the Boston Parks Department and our design team for the fourth public meeting to discuss the redesign of East Boston Central Square. At this meeting we will discuss the park design, traffic circulation, and the benefits of reverse angle parking.
